What is the “Continuum of Care” at Waterford Grand?
Waterford Grand believes in providing the best care to our residents as their needs and health dictate. Ensuring residents can enjoy the full potential of their lives drives our commitment to thoughtful and nurturing care.
Residents of our Independent Living units are ready to embrace the next chapter of their lives while retaining the autonomy and independence they’ve always known. With apartment-style accommodations, our Independent Living facilities provide the perfect transition to senior community living.
For those needing a bit more hands-on care and attention, Waterford Grand’s Assisted Living neighborhood offers the ideal solution. Here, seniors can live comfortably and securely knowing they have 24-hour access to one of the highly trained, compassionate and respectful professionals on our personal care team.
Our Memory Care facilities help those struggling with memory loss and various forms of dementia. In this comfortable and caring environment, residents make real connections and enjoy activities that bring joy, purpose and passion to their lives.
And whether a loved one needs more intensive care for a short period of time, or a caregiver needs a break, our Respite Care program delivers comfort and relief to everyone involved. With state-of-the-art facilities and qualified, considerate staff, Waterford Grand’s Respite Care option provides understanding, support and peace of mind.
How do we know what is the right stage of care?
After conducting a routine physical and a health services assessment to identify care and social needs, along with an analysis of a resident’s comprehensive medical history, Waterford Grand’s Health Care Services director will consult with your physician and make a recommendation that best meets your needs.
What makes Waterford Grand different from other senior living communities?
One of Waterford Grand’s unique innovations is engagement of a Personal Preferences Coordinator into residents’ lives. The goal of our Personal Preferences Coordinator hinges on using the personal information we learn about our residents from family members, friends and themselves to design services and schedules around their own routines, habits, interests and memories. This award-winning program ensures residents a comfortable transition to their new home while honoring their individuality and personality.
Residents will also find a collection of amenities that aren’t offered in other senior living communities, including a dedicated Executive Chef, Personal Fitness and Wellness Director, state-of-the-art emergency system, fire pit, light show fountain and generous staffing ratios. Not to mention the beautiful setting along the Willamette River.
